were talking about. I was recently divorced and looking for

I went to one conference, then another, then another and
they all said the same and different things. If you want to
be a millionaire, you must build a list, write your own ebook,
make your own product and be a “super-affiliate.” Well, I
wrote my first ebook and began to market it until the cost
of the payment processor was more than I was making
on my ebook itself.
And then I went to another conference. I gave myself
a certain window of time to “learn” and then realized that
the learning curve was steep online. That there were only
3-5% of the poor people working online and typing numerous
ads and spending hundreds of dollars online advertising this
program or that, and dropping like flies out of one program,
only to run to the next one. I found myself failing miserably
as well.
Sleepless nights followed, while I wondered which
direction online or offline to take. Lonely, heartbroken
from my divorce and wondering about my financial future,
I began to read for hours online, knowing that I must be
missing some pieces of the puzzle. Frightened that
I would never learn this big curve called “marketing”
I began to search the websites of my own company’s
capture pages (or personalized pages that held a box
to leave your name and email and began to optin
to those people’s websites.) By doing this, I found
a mentor who turned my internet journey completely
around.
I realized SUCCESS starts with WHO you are and in your
mindset:
I realized that I must be thankful today for who God Created me to be
and celebrate that! Watch this and celebrate who you are — if you

I found HOPE and the SKILLS to increase
that hope. I learned Youtube marketing and
how to market on MySpace as a marketer and was
encouraged from the very first video to many
others, day by day.
I found a game plan
a day-by-day calendar of what I was supposed
to be doing to build my online business, including
—-how to leave comments in forums and
put my link (and that was a class in itself) in my
signature that would lead to interest in my own
capture page.
—how to “close” sales
on the phone and that given just a little time, that
people who watched my YOUTUBE videos would call
me. And guess what? They DID! They actually
began to seek me out, instead of my typing endless
ads hoping for that one pitiful optin a day to my
autoresponder list which was growing at a snail’s pace.
I continued and found other mentors and coaches were actually
everywhere online, but I was looking for MORE.
I was looking for the WHOLE PICTURE, you know,
not just advertise for free on Craigslist, and put up
ads on USFree Ads, and make a comment in a forum,
and don’t forget those ads!!!!
I hit a slump again. My program began to fizzle
and so did my hopes about making this work.
It seemed as if the economy was mirroring my
internet marketing success.
Yet, I did not give up. I knew it was all buried
in the internet because if so-and-so could do it,
you know those ads that talk about “a construction
worker to millionaire-now-retired-on-the-beach.”
I knew there had to be some truth in that.
I still felt like I was just peeking into the BIG
arena of the professional marketers who all knew
more how this all fit together.
I had been writing articles and submitting them to
EzineArticles and fell in love with Squidoo lens and
have begun to generate some limited income from
Adsense from 27 lens that I have build so far.
I made one affiliate sale on Clickbank from the articles,
and knew that long-term residual income would and
could come from writing my heart out every day.
One ebook suggested writing 50 articles a day,
but if you don’t have the needed research to write
that much material, it is difficult and you can get
burned out. I didn’t choose to pay for someone to
write them and PLR articles have to be rewritten
so I opted to continue to write my own, just on a
less frequent basis as I turned my eyes towards
learning the World OF MARKETING, not just one
little region here and there.
Do you know what I mean? At this point, I began to
feel negative and understood why so many say,
I’m going to get an offline job, this is just too hard.
I continued to read the Bible to inspire me and to
read other inspirational literature daily and before
I went to sleep at night.
THEN IT HAPPENED, the BIGGEST TURNING point
in my marketing journey - I found the
Online Marketing Mastermind course where I began to leverage years of learning and teamwork
carved out by others to find SUCCESS
and IT ALL FINALLY CLICKED!
And I found out how you can make money on Myspace!
Even if you are not a teenager.
